A season with ups and downs, with heat waves in June and in August. All local households were swamped with visitors this year and Rousselonge House had in particular one very famous visitor in August, in connection with the Labeaume music festival. This was as it turned out something of a blow. But since then things have revived and gotten back into shape (not the star’s fault incidentally, she was fine). Spring flowers …rosemary and tulips
In August, a new piano ‘Rousseau’ make once made in Alès, brought from there. All the professionals love it and so do we. Here is the tuner:
And then, full house for three days: Jane Birkin and her team. Before, during and after, the two volunteers from Bres took the place like a storm respecting no one and nothing, and I fled. but here is Jane with Philippe Forget and her manager Christophe:

The very day Jane left, old friends from Paris arrived, Xavier Houzel and Adeline Houel. They kindly took away with them the Louis XV commode that used to belong to Bernard’s grandmother, not really suitable for here and suffering from the damp:
